Our Mission

The University of Minnesota Gymnastics Club expands opportunities for people of all levels to participate in gymnastics and promotes interaction among collegiate gymnastics clubs by providing structure for competition on local, regional, and national levels. We build a community of support and camaraderie that encourages hard work, sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, and fun.
We aspire to encourage participation in gymnastics and strength-building without limit.

Our Team

We offer affordable gymnastics opportunities for all adults and skill backgrounds. From forward rolls to double fronts, we bond over one thing - gymnastics. We offer competitive and non-competitive options for all of our members, and are a proud member club of the National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs.

Our Gyms

The University of Minnesota Gymnastics Club practices in the University of Minnesota D1 women's and former D1 men's facilities. Our facilities contain equipment for all men's and women's apparatuses. In Cooke Hall, we have high bar, rings, and parallel bars going to both mats and foam pits, as well as a pommel horse, rod floor, and floor strip. In Peik, we have a 40' x 40' competitive floor, uneven bars, balance beam, vault, trampoline, floor strip, and a tumble track.

Our practices

We offer open-gym style practices, ensuring that you have the chance to work on what you want to work on, at your own personalized pace. We always begin practices with a group stretch and line warm ups. During practices we often offer skills workshops to help you achieve your gymnastics goals. As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask an officer and we would be happy to help!
